Serve

Our mission at First St. Paul’s is “United, we live God’s will.

As we seek to fulfill this mission, there are many opportunities to serve the ministry and mission in the church community. Each member, guest and friend of First St. Paul’s is a part of the body of Christ and has a place to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Whether you’ve been at First St. Paul’s for a week or generations, there is a place for you to use your gifts and talents. Here are just a few examples:

Worship Ministry

Worship is not what we do, it is who we are. Serving in Worship Ministry prepares the way – through reading, worship leading, preparing and serving communion, caring for the worship spaces – for members and visitors to fully engage in worship.

Music Ministry

Let us rejoice! Serving in Music Ministry is an opportunity to share your musical gifts and talents in various settings, services and opportunities. There is music ministry for every age!

Tech Ministry

Responsible for audio and visual for each worship service. Tech Ministry is open to youth grade 7 – adult.

Serve Ministry

There are countless ways to care for the people of First St. Paul’s and our community. If you have a heart to serve the lost, the least, the last, the lonely, if you have a passion for care, prayer and attending to the heart and soul of people, there are many ways to use those gifts at First St. Paul’s. Or maybe, you’re called to go big: on a mission!

FSP Kids Ministry

Lead kids 3 years – 6th grade through weekly teachings, music, large groups, small groups and more. Use your creative gifts to create and prepare crafts and skits or your administrative skills to assist in the office. Serve at special events, like VBS or the Children’s Advent Worship service.

FSP Student Ministry

Teens need invested, concerned, Christ-centered adults to lead and guide them in faith. The impact of invested adults in the faith lives of teens can not be underestimated. Serve as Confirmation Small Group Leaders, assist with Junior High ministry, mentor teens, host a small group, be the chauffeur for events, or be a mission trip mentor.

Adult Ministry

Community matters! There are multiple opportunities to lead small groups, bible studies or community events. Contact a Pastor if you have a study you’d like to lead, or for more information, guidance or suggestions on what it means to lead an adult opportunity.

Hospitality Ministry

There’s nothing like coming home and feeling welcome! We want to create a welcoming environment for every person that steps through our doors. From greeting, to setting up coffee, serving meals for events and receptions or caring for families during times of loss there are many ways to serve in our hospitality ministry.
