Confirmation
Wednesdays, September – May (6:05 – 7:25 p.m.)
Youth and Family Ministry Center
Youth in 7th and 8th grade participate in Confirmation. These years are spent digging into God’s Word, learning the Bible and Catechism so they can confidently Affirm their Baptism in the Spring of 8th grade.
7th Grade
As 7th graders embark on this next stage of their faith walk they will encounter God’s word and the exciting way He is preparing their hearts to grow in relationship with Him. Pastor Chad Power, with Christian Adult mentors, will lead these first-year confirmands through the exploration of God’s messages for us through Old and New testament scriptures.
8th Grade
During 8th grade confirmation, youth work in large and small groups to bring the big picture of scripture to personal, life application. With large group worship and teaching and small group study, Pastor Joel Remmers guides youth and adult leaders through series focused on discipleship, the Gospel, tough stuff in life and learning the Catechism. 8th grade prepares youth for their Affirmation of Baptism as we learn to live out our faith in Christ and move into senior high ministry.

OREOS: The Good Stuff in the Middle
Fourth Sunday of Each Month (September – May)
Time and Location Varies
We call our monthly Jr. High event “OREOS” because Jr. High gets a bad rap, when really these years are “the good stuff in the middle.” OREOS is an opportunity for Jr. High Youth to get together, hang out and have fun with their friends! Whether it’s bowling, scavenger hunts or service, it’s always good stuff. Friends are always welcome! Led by Pastor Joel Remmers.

We believe our Junior High youth have tons of gifts and talents to share. Junior High youth are encouraged to help with FSP Kids Ministry as mentors or join the tech team and make the sound and screens happen during worship. They are also encouraged to volunteer during Vacation Bible School. Contact Pastor Chad Power to learn more.
Junior High Summer Events
Faith development isn’t just a school year thing! We encourage 7th and 8th graders to attend Bible Camp or the annual Junior High Mission Trip. To learn more about upcoming opportunities, contact Pastor Joel Remmers.
